To help raise awareness of the desparate plight of tigers in the wild, children across the school recently took part in Tiger Day.

Activities were put on in each classroom including, making a tiger batik, modelling, drawing, poems, stories and mosaic making.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the activities and our biggest thanks go to Iain Green who provided the main stimulus for the day and to Miss Kendall for

co-ordinating the activities in school.

The children's work was then displayed in their very own exhibition held at the Village Hall on showday and a great many compliments have been received from members of the village.
